We're a friendly cafe known for our amazing Acai bowls, breakfast, pastries, salads, and sandwiches. We're seeking a new team member to help in our kitchen. If you love food and are excited to work in a busy kitchen, we want to hear from you


Position Overview:

As
Demi chef de partie, you will be instrumental in preparing our diverse breakfast menu, pastries, salads, and sandwiches. Your role will directly impact our customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items, pastries, salads, sandwiches, and other hot and cold kitchen specialties.
  • Expertly operate kitchen equipment, ensuring all dishes are cooked to perfection and meet our quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Assist in receiving and storing supplies, ensuring proper food safety and storage standards are met.
  • Contribute to inventory management, promptly reporting any shortages or equipment issues.
  • Engage in regular cleaning tasks, including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and refuse disposal.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in culinary.
  • Demonstrated skill in cooking breakfast items, pastries, salad and sandwiches.
  • A strong understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities, with a commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
