Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Infection Preventionist to join a reputable healthcare facility in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and evaluating infection prevention and control programs to ensure patient and staff safety in compliance with DHA regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures
  

• Conduct infection surveillance and monitor healthcare-associated infections
  

• Lead infection control audits and ensure compliance with DHA and accreditation standards
  

• Provide staff education and training on infection prevention practices
  

• Participate in outbreak investigations and risk assessments
  

• Collaborate with clinical teams to promote patient safety initiatives
  

Requirements

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  

• Excellent communication and training abilities
  

• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  

• Knowledge of healthcare accreditation standards (JCI experience is an advantage)
  

Key Requirements

• Valid DHA License (mandatory)
  

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  (clinical practice, nursing, public health, allied health, or related field)
  

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant healthcare discipline
  

• Certification or Diploma in Infection Prevention and Control
  

• Strong knowledge of infection surveillance, prevention strategies, and regulatory standards
  

• Experience in hospital-based infection control programs preferred
