ABOUT THE FUNCTIONFunction:

AgronomyDepartment:

AgronomyRole: Entrusted with implementing the daily maintenance and agronomic program of the golf and landscape maintenance department to provide the highest possible standard of playing surfaces, in order to deliver outstanding golf experiences.

Records and monitors daily activities and data and communicates with the golf course manager. Trains the team while implementing the agreed Standard Operating Procedures and ensuring stringent Health & Safety practices are followed.

Irrigation ManagementPesticide Legislation and Application QUALIFICATIONMinimum of a high school diploma is required/ Technical Certificate or Qualification in Sports Turf, or a related field is preferred.

Member of an industry organization such as GCSAA or BIGGA would be an advantage.
Supervises, organizes and demonstrates good planning skills.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a golf course maintenance departmentPesticide applicators license or similar would be an advantage.
