    Description

    PURPOSE OF THEROLE:

    Safety Officermonitor health and safety and assess risk within assigned workplace manage and train other health and safety staff members andfrequently travel to perform field investigations and respond toincident reports for the Infrastructureproject.

    DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensurea safe work environment without risks tohealth
    • Establishing HSE rulespolicies and procedures to support the business and create a safeworking environment
    • Setting all HSE policiesfor the business in collaboration with the Management and HRTeam
    • Ensure that all HSE policies andprocedures are regularly reviewed and updated to meet changingbusiness and legislative needs and communicatedaccordingly
    • Ensure the company meets itsstatutory obligations in all areas in relation to the health safetyand welfare at work including reporting
    • Ensurethe completion and regular review of risk assessments for all workareas equipment and operations
    • Ensure that allaccidents are reported and recorded in line with company policy andrecommended improvements implemented
    • Ensurethat safety inspections are carried out fire drills and fire alarmsare correctly recorded safety inspections risk assessments and loneworking procedures are managed and employees are aware of theirresponsibilities
    • Establish a full structuredprogramme of HSE training throughout the company and ensureaccurate training records aremaintained
    • Observes HSE regulations wears allrequired safety equipment encourages safe working practices andcorrects obvious hazards immediately
    • Keep up todate with all aspects of relevant health safety and welfare at worklegislation and communicate and implement relevant changes withinthe business
    • Provide support for QualityAssurance of manufactured items
    • Provide regularreports to the Senior Management Team on relevant HSEactivities
    • Prepare monthly metrics on accidentsand incidents which are provided to the ATI HRTeam

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5yearsminimum experience in Infrastructure projects inUAE
    • College Degree /Diploma
    • With Level 3 IGC (obtained before2019)
    • NEBOSH / OSHA certificate or any relatedshort course trainingsetc.
    • Preferred to be withLeadauditor ISO 45001 and OSHAD practitioner.
