PrincipalResponsibilities

• Preparation and checking of all typesof civil and structural design deliverables such as GeneralArrangement Drawings, civil earthworks drawings, structuraldrawings, 3D Models, structural steel details, Material Take-Offs,etc.
• Interdisciplinary check of allCivil/Structural/Piping/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentationdrawings.
• Review of vendor drawings forEquipment / Package items.
• Produce drawings inAutoCAD.
• To assist in the coordination of allactivities related to the discipline.
  

Qualifications

• Diploma or HNC in Civil engineering(or relevant subject).
• Strong commitment tosafety.
• Relevant experience in the Oil and Gasindustry.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD,Excel and Word.
• PDMS experience required as aminimum.
• Experience of 3D modelling using E3Dpreferred.
• Must be able to work to an agreedscope, budget and schedule.
• An active listenerwith the ability to focus on customerrequirements
• Experience in the preparation andco-ordination of Civil and Structural designdeliverables.
• Thorough awareness ofinternational codes and standards used for Mechanical and/or Pipingdesign in Oil & Gas industry.
• Extensiveexperience with prefabricated, packaged plantdesign.
• Compliance with industry, internationaland client Codes and Standards.
• Maintainsuitable records of correspondence and work completed for referenceand auditing purposes.
• Knowledge of site-basedproject work involving field engineering andconstruction.
• Experience of working withmulti-national and multi-cultural project teams is stronglypreferred.
• Previous experience of working inthe Middle East would be an advantage.
• Goodcommunicator with willingness to share knowledge and supportothers.
• Strong team working ethic, positive,enthusiastic and Proactive.
• An active listenerwith the ability to focus on customerrequirement.
• Flexible andadaptable.
• Fluent in both spoken and writtenEnglish language.
