Senior Commercial Manager - AED40k/monthOur client, a leading Property Development arm of a well-known family group of companies is looking for an experienced Arabic Speaking Commercial Manager to join their team in Dubai.
Reporting to the General Manager of Property Development you will be part of a team that is responsible for the project delivery department that is tasked with delivering the clients property development projects.
In order to achieve this my client is seeking someone who possess both management and contracting skills which enables them to understand the entire property development delivery process from site acquisition through feasibility, design, construction, sales/leasing and occupancy phases.
The project delivery solution is focused on best maximising project outcomes to meet the project objectives, whilst minimising project risk.

The Senior Commercial Managers role involves the execution of professional duties to the highest possible standards.
It is expected that the Senior Commercial Manager's role will ensure sound people, project and commercial management, and will require extensive experience which includes but not be limited to the following key functions:
People ManagementAs Senior Commercial Manager you will invest in sound people management principles to ensure that the team including consultants, contractors and partners works well and provides a supportive environment for the achievement of project and individual objectives; Together with the General Manager Property Development manage the welfare and motivation of the teams direct and indirect reports, such as Senior Planning Engineer, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Document Controllers and Administration Assistants providing leadership, guidance, education and encouragement; and Plan for and undertake annual performance reviews in line with our clients processes.

Skills and AttributesAs Senior Commercial Manager you should be equipped to:Manage and coordinate the inputs of project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of each project; Assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues; Apply quality management principles and processes; Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes;Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project; and be aware of the broader perspective and how it affects the project.
Qualifications and ExperienceUniversity educated with minimum of a Property or Construction related Bachelor Degree.
Preference for PMP qualified or RICS accredited.
Preference for Master's Degree in Construction or Property.
Minimum 10 years' experience in major development projects.
Minimum 5 years' experience in GCC preferably Dubai.
Specialist study in Contracts formation, management and enforcement especially FIDIC related study.
