Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Purchase Manager to join our team.

As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services at the best possible cost and quality.

You will play a vital role in optimizing our procurement strategy and contributing to the overall success of our organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline the purchasing process and improve efficiency.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery time, and service.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to obtain the most favorable arrangements for the company.
  • Continuously monitor market trends, industry developments, and supplier performance to stay informed and make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and develop procurement plans accordingly.
  • Review and analyze purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy of specifications and adherence to procurement policies.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with contractual terms.
  • Resolve any supplierrelated issues, such as delivery discrepancies, quality concerns, or contract disputes, in a timely manner.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control measures to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and prevent shortages or excesses.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in procurement activities, including adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Analyze procurement data, generate reports, and provide insights to management regarding purchasing trends, cost savings, and process improvements.
  • Stay up to date with market changes, new products, and emerging technologies that may impact procurement decisions.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role, with a track record of successfully managing the procurement process.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with legal and contractual aspects of procurement.
