Description

As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all tax-related matters for our clients including VAT, Excise Tax & Corporate Tax filling, registration and consultations.

Your primary role will involve providing expert advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and regulatory matters in the UAE.

You will work closely with clients to identify tax-efficient strategies, ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and provide support during tax audits and assessments, you will stay updated on the latest tax legislation and developments in the UAE and provide insights to clients on potential impacts and opportunities.

Additionally, you will be assigned for many clients bookkeeping using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks online.


Responsibilities:

Conduct a detailed analysis of clients' financial data to assess their tax obligations and opportunities for optimization.

Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies that align with clients' business objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Prepare and review complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.

Advise clients on potential tax implications of business decisions and provide recommendations for minimizing tax liabilities.

Stay abreast of changes in local and international tax laws and regulations, keeping clients informed of relevant developments.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax documents and reports.

Represent clients during tax audits and assessments, providing necessary documentation and support to resolve issues effectively.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or queries related to taxation.


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA) is a plus.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable audit / accountancy firm, with a focus on taxation in the UAE.

Comprehensive knowledge of UAE tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Able to complete financial statements all the way up to closing stage

Proven ability to develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify potential tax implications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
