Summary:

Responsibilities:

Ensure the timely completion of month-end closing activities and the preparation of all required management reports.

Develop and maintain best practice financial accounting and control procedures.

Regularly review processes and procedures to maximize impact and efficiency.

Ensure balance sheets accurately reflect the assets and liabilities of the organization.

Review balance sheets and ensure reconciliations are performed.

Complete management of the Finance function on a centralized basis.

Possess a keen understanding of the company ERP system to manage finance and procurement effectively.

Ensure seamless integration of the ERP and CRM systems.

Oversee financial modules including Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Liabilities, and Intercompany balances.

Manage the annual budgeting process across the organization.

Ensure compliance with all tax requirements (VAT, Corporate Tax).

Manage and set up the approved Authority Matrix for tax compliance

Prepare monthly and quarterly reports by department and legal entity, highlighting potential risks

Manage monthly cashflow and escalate any risks related to collections

Analyze foreseeable financial risks and prepare risk mitigation plans

Conduct ongoing risk management activities, including contract reviews and team training

Prepare financial feasibilities for new business ideas/propositions to assess return on investment risks

Qualifications:

Educated to a master's degree level or equivalent in Finance/Accounting

8-10 years' experience in the Finance function with at least 3-4 UAE experience with minimum 2 years of freezone is must

Professional certification in Finance is mandatory (Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA)

Provide effective leadership and supervision to a team of 8-10 finance professionals

In-depth knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

An analytical mindset to be able to understand financials and deliver a clear message to stakeholders in a simple and transparent manner.

Strong understanding of business fundamentals and drivers of financial, service, and operational success

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas

Self-Motivated, with the ability to work within an ambiguous constantly changing environment
