    AMI islooking for an experienced Instructional/LearningDesigner for our programmes to join the Learning Team andwork closely with the Partnerships teamsto build online learning programmes that work for our growing groupof African and global clients. You will be a key player in adynamic, international team focused obsessively on results. At AMI,we work hard, innovate constantly and have fun.     TheInstructional/Learning Designer will focuson Leadership and SME development programmes across Africaproviding consultation within the broader learning team, takingdesign initiative on all aspects of programme and learningexperience design, workshop and contentdevelopment.

    Thesuccessful candidate will report to theLearning Design Lead as part of a dynamic internationalteam.

    Responsibilities

    • Designand develop learning programmes, materials, and online courses inaccordance with established design models for instructor andvirtual instructor-led training, multimedia, video, and otherlearning-related materials
    • Designengaging learning experiences focused on motivating and encouragingparticipants throughout the learning programme. Support theanalysis of learning data to adapt strategies throughout programmeimplementation
    • Consultwith other instructional/learning designers, project partners, orsubject matter experts regarding learning strategies, blendeddesign, and business requirements that impact the learning needsand learning solutions initiatives
    • Conductanalyses of target audience, training requirements, and mediarequirements
    • Designtraining materials and assessments in adherence to brand standards
    • Testtraining materials to ensure their quality. Adapt as necessarygiven feedback fromimplementation

    Requirements

    Qualifications&Experience

    • 5+years of related instructional design and development experience(essential)
    • Design-build,Instructional Design, Instructional Training,E-learning
    • Experienceworking in an entrepreneurial or skills development environment(essential)
    • Masters degree or equivalent experience
    • AMIwill consider candidates from any country, but preference will begiven to African nationals.
    Skills&Attributes
    • Deepknowledge of adult learning theory and how to apply these theoriesin the design of learning experiences
    • Recentexperience designing instruction for leaders including the designof multimedia training, digital training materials, experientialworkshops, and related documentation
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills. Ability to edit andperform quality assurance (QA) on your own work
    • Understandingof agile methodology and ability to handle multiple priorities in avery fluid working environment
    • Highproficiency and productivity in G Suite tools, including GoogleDocs, Sheets, and Slides,etc.
    • Exhibitsolid interpersonal and communication skills that enable successfulinternal and external interaction in a variety of modes includingface-to-face meetings, phone calls, phone conferences, virtualmeetings, and written communication.
