    About the role

    Lean is scaling into a multi-product, verticalized commercial organisation. As part of this evolution, we're hiring a senior leader to own our Trading GTM across the UAE and KSA, covering crypto trading platforms, exchanges, investment apps, brokerages, liquidity providers, and market infrastructure companies.

    This role is responsible for how Lean lands, grows, and scales inside trading-centric businesses. You will own GTM strategy, revenue growth, and market capture for the trading vertical.

    We're looking for someone with deep trading ecosystem experience, covering order flows, risk, treasury, liquidity, compliance, wallets, onboarding, funding, and withdrawals, and someone who can turn that knowledge into a repeatable, high-velocity enterprise GTM engine.

    Lean has tripled in size over the past twelve months. We're on track to triple again next year.

    What started as the region's pioneering Open Finance platform is now becoming something bigger: a multi-product infrastructure company powering payments, data, and lending across MENA. We're expanding into new markets, opening offices, acquiring businesses, and building capabilities that didn't exist here before.

    We've processed billions of dollars in transactions. We're trusted by 300+ clients - from Binance and Careem to Etisalat - and backed by General Catalyst, Sequoia, and Shorooq. Our $67.5M Series B was just the beginning.

    What you'll own

    • Vertical Strategy & Ownership

      • Own the full P&L, GTM strategy, and market penetration for the Trading vertical.

      • Define the vertical's roadmap: user funding flows, instant withdrawals, verification, fraud, KYC, KYT, liquidity management, token risk, and trading-specific settlement needs.

      • Segment and prioritise trading sub-verticals: centralised exchanges, brokerages, retail investing apps, OTC desks, market makers, and crypto-native wallets.

      • Represent the vertical in WBRs, QBRs, and cross-functional forums as the single-threaded owner of revenue targets, risks, and action plans.

      • Operate in line with applicable regulatory standards and internal risk and compliance frameworks.

    • Enterprise Sales Leadership

      • Lead high-stakes enterprise sales cycles with founders, trading operators, CTOs, compliance heads, treasury owners, and product leaders.

      • Own deal strategy for new logos and expansions, especially across instant withdrawals, guaranteed payouts, verification flows, account funding rails, and crypto wallet UX.

      • Position Lean as the infrastructure layer enabling faster onboarding, lower risk, improved liquidity, and seamless funding and withdrawal experiences.

    • Cross-Functional GTM Execution

      • Partner with Product and Engineering to influence priorities based on trading workflows, market dynamics, operational bottlenecks, and regulatory requirements.

      • Work closely with PMM to build vertical-specific narratives, pitching angles, pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and sales enablement materials.

      • Ensure tight collaboration with CSM and Solutions Engineering to guarantee activation quality, time-to-value, and consumption growth for trading clients.

    • Client & Ecosystem Leadership

      • Act as Lean's executive face across the Trading ecosystem, including industry events, crypto networks, wallet providers, compliance forums, regulators, and top-tier exchanges.

      • Build deep expertise in trading operations: order routing, risk controls, liquidity, custody, wallet flows, fraud vectors, KYC, KYT, settlement, and treasury operations.

      • Build a network of operators who inform GTM direction, test new capabilities early, and amplify Lean's presence in the trading ecosystem.

    • Team Building & Vertical POD Leadership

      • Build and lead a dedicated GTM POD (AEs, CSMs, SEs) with KPIs tied to trading-specific consumption and revenue growth.

      • Set a high-performance standard for sales execution, forecasting accuracy, activation quality, and pipeline health.

      • Coach talent to raise the bar on trading domain depth, commercial sharpness, and operational discipline.

    What we're looking for

    • Strong experience in payments, crypto infrastructure, open banking, on and off-ramp flows, or trading-related funding and withdrawals.

    • Direct experience in Trading, such as selling into exchanges, working at a trading platform, or partnering with trading or investment products.

    • Proven track record building and scaling enterprise sales motions.

    • Ability to independently close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.

    • Builder mentality with experience creating motions from scratch, not just maintaining mature playbooks.

    • Executive-level relationship builder who gains trust quickly and can influence C-suite, founders, and product leaders.

    • Strong cross-functional influence with Product, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, RevOps, and leadership.

    • MENA experience is a plus, but deep industry fluency in trading matters more.
