As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests feel welcome and well-cared for from the moment they arrive until they depart.

As Hostess, you will deliver outstanding customer service and managing the restaurant's front-of-house operations.

You will be responsible for overseeing the seating arrangements, greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth service flow.

Your professionalism, leadership skills, and ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the reservation system, including accepting, confirming, and organizing reservations, and maintaining accurate records of guest preferences and special requests.
  • Ensure that the host/hostess station is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies, including menus, reservation books, and seating charts.
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus and any relevant information about specials, promotions, or events.
  • Monitor the dining room flow and coordinate with servers and management to optimize seating arrangements and ensure timely service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and promptly, resolving issues to the guests' satisfaction and escalating concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to communicate special requests, dietary restrictions, and VIP guest preferences effectively.
  • Assist in maintaining a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere in the restaurant, including managing guest wait times, seating availability, and restaurant ambiance.
  • Conduct preshift meetings with host/hostess staff to review reservations, special events, and any pertinent information to ensure smooth service execution.
  • Work closely with the management team to implement policies, procedures, and training programs to uphold service standards and enhance the guest experience.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guestfacing role in a highend restaurant or hospitality establishment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • Leadership experience preferred, with the ability to motivate, train, and mentor staff to achieve excellence in customer service.
  • Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills for managing reservations and guest profiles.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's schedule.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation, with a polished and professional appearance.
  • Passion for hospitality and dedication to creating memorable experiences for guests.
