POSITION OVERVIEW

The Team Leader - Liability Sales Force is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving deposit growth initiatives through effective team management and sales execution. This position requires a dynamic leader who can build high-performing teams, develop customer relationships, and deliver exceptional results while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory compliance standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 10-20 sales professionals to achieve ambitious deposit growth targets

• Implement performance optimization strategies and conduct regular coaching sessions to maximize team effectiveness

• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and professional development

• Conduct strategic team meetings to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and market opportunities

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans designed to meet or exceed deposit growth targets

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators including deposit growth, customer acquisition rates, and retention metrics

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market share in the deposit segment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative sales initiatives and promotional campaigns

Customer Relationship Excellence

• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with high-value clients and prospective customers

• Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service standards that enhance client loyalty and satisfaction

• Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues, providing timely and professional resolution

• Drive customer-centric initiatives that strengthen the organization's market position

Training & Professional Development

• Design and deliver comprehensive training programs covering deposit products, services, and advanced sales methodologies

• Conduct skills assessments and provide targeted coaching to address performance gaps

• Ensure team members maintain current knowledge of regulatory requirements and organizational policies

• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across the sales function

Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning

• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities

• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to enhance service offerings and promotional strategies

• Provide strategic feedback on product positioning and recommend improvements based on market insights

• Develop actionable intelligence reports to support senior management decision-making

Operational Excellence & Compliance

• Implement and maintain robust internal policies ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements including KYC, AML, EDD, and FATCA guidelines

• Oversee account opening processes to ensure compliance with risk management and regulatory standards

• Prepare comprehensive sales reports and performance analytics for senior management review

• Coordinate with support departments to optimize operational efficiency and process improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with various departments to ensure seamless branch operations and customer experience

• Facilitate effective communication channels between sales teams and support functions

• Contribute to organizational initiatives that enhance overall business performance

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, preferably within business banking or deposit services

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams

• Experience in financial services with demonstrated knowledge of deposit products and banking operations
