Summary
POSITIONSUMMARY:
Supervisesall aspects of Maintenance for the equipment and facilities at the800,000 square-foot Zanesville, Ohio Distribution Center.Responsible for direct supervision and development of approximately10-12 Company Associates plus indirect oversight of 12-14 contractemployees. Responsible for supporting safety and environmentalcompliance in assigned areas. Administers work order scheduling andcontrol system and storeroom inventory management. Manages capitalprojects for Engineering and other units as requested. Managesinclement weather preparedness and response. Shares responsibilityof budget for Engineering and for indirect sourcing contractmanagement.

3rdshift - Sunday thru Friday morning - 9:30pm - 6:00amEST

Roles&Responsibilities
(Listin order ofimportance)
Provide technical direction to design, plan install and maintainplant facilities, mechanical, electrical equipment, and theassociatedcontrols.
Schedule and direct all assigned regulatory testing including Alarmand Fire suppressionsystems.
Performs vendor selection, emergency repair authorization andprioritization, final approval of work, manages decisions affectingindirect contract services on theirshift.
Must be able to make sound decisions that affect the dailyoperation of thebusiness.
Responsible for making decisions that affect Team Members based onHuman Resources policies andprocedures.
Provide technical support and training to Engineering andOperations TeamMembers.
Responsible for Distribution operations, 7 days aweek.
Must be available in person, as required, to support engineeringactivities and operational emergencies outside of normal businesshours.

Frequentlyrequired to make business decisionsindependently.
Decisionswill have significant impact on quality, cost, and servicelevels.
Actionsroutinely taken to ensure the building infrastructure support forthe Zanesvillefacility.
Responsiblefor ongoing operations of the facility andgrounds.
SCOPEOFRESPONSIBILITY/INFORMATION:
Responsible for staff of 10-12 direct Team Members plus oversightof indirectcontractors.
Direct daily activities of and ensure required training is currentfor Company mechanics andelectricians.
Direct activities of outside mechanical and electrical contractorsto ensure all projects are completed safely and on time withminimal operationalimpact.

MinimumQualifications

• Bachelors degree required in a technical discipline, a BS or MS inElectrical or Mechanical Engineering ispreferred.
  
• Experiencein project/process management, continuous process improvement andquality control highlydesired.
  
• Minimumof 3 years of experience leading facilities maintenance team in amanufacturing, production, or distribution center environment.
  
• Experiencein a computerized maintenance management system preferred. Musthave the ability to read electrical diagrams, diagnose,troubleshoot, test and repair mechanical and electronic devices.PLC programming skillspreferred.
  
• Strongtechnical knowledge and expertise required: general plantmaintenance, HVAC, preventative maintenance, facilities and,mechanicalmaintenance.
  
• PCliterate with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Officeapplications.
  
• Strongpresentation skills; interpersonal, oral and written communicationskills.
  
• Knowledgeof OSHAregulations.
  
• Experiencespecifying, selecting, and purchasing parts and equipment tomaintain productionequipment.
  
• Occasionallifting up to 40lbs; frequent standing and walking; ability to worklong hours and someweekends.
