- Performing a variety of reliabilityand maintenance tasks on heavy machinery in a manufacturingenvironment
- Performing preventive andcorrective maintenance in accordance with the facility'spreventative maintenance schedule
- Adhering toall plant safety guidelines, policies, andprocedures
- Working with operations associatesto identify opportunities for improvement and prioritizemaintenance needs
- Working in a hot, humid,cold, and noisy industrialenvironment
- Performing tasks such as lifting,walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling forup to twelve (12) hours a day
- Willing to workany shifts (including nights), holidays, weekends, and overtime asneeded
- Understanding and know how tocommunicate with the crane operators using handsignals.
- Requirements:
- Three(3) years of experience in wood products OR Three (3) more ofindustrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing,production, or military environment.
- Experienceusing a Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS)
- Experience with blueprint reading andprecision measurements
- Experiencetroubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes,and conveyors
- Experience troubleshooting andrepairing hydraulics & pneumatic systems and readinghydraulic schematics
- Experience with weldingand operating a pipe machine
