Job Description Job Purpose**:


  • Support Project Manager in daytoday construction execution and other operational activities e.g. material, logistics and installation crew assignments ensuring qualify, safety and timely completion of project.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, plan, prioritize, assign, and monitor various construction crews working at different work fronts and locations for Abu Dhabi and Ali Ain area.
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively to support replacement activities.
  • Achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets for replacing existing streetlights and install new energy efficient lights and provide progress reports to Project Manager and ensure that progress is reported back and updated

Day to day responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, plan, prioritize, assign, and monitor various construction crews working at different work fronts and locations for Abu Dhabi and Ali Ain area.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to identify replacement areas and prioritize work schedules.
  • Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials effectively to support replacement activities.
  • Supervise field teams and subcontractors to ensure adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that replacement work meets project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections to assess the condition of existing fixtures and identify replacement needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for projectrelated communications with stakeholders, including municipalities, utility companies, and residents.
  • Facilitate coordination among project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and resolve operational challenges related to street lighting replacement activities.
  • Make informed decisions to optimize resource utilization and overcome project obstacles.
  • Escalate critical issues to project management and propose solutions as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or Higher Diploma (Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical) with (10 Years minimum) in the power, utilities, contracting, infrastructure.

Additional Information Experience Requirements**:


  • Experience level: 1012 years
  • 10 years or more experience UAE or Middle East
  • Minimum 05 years as Construction Engineer or Operations Engineer on medium to large scale projects in similar business or industry
  • HSE compliance and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams

Skills & Professional Requirements:


  • Proven experience in construction execution and operation management
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and resources.
  • Knowledge of street lighting systems, including fixture types, installation methods, and maintenance requirements

Attributes and Behaviours:


  • Excellent personality with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft office products, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
