Project Manager to lead a critical initiative aimed at modernizing our high-value, high-volume payment processes.

You will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of a solution that integrates H2H (Host-to-Host) communication, SWIFT MT (Message Type) conversion to MX (Multi-format XML) messaging, and NPSS (National Payments System) integration.

This project is crucial for streamlining our payments infrastructure, improving efficiency, and reducing costs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the overall project plan, timeline, and budget for the H2H, SWIFT MT to MX, NPSS integration initiative.
Secure stakeholder buyin and commitment from across the organization, including IT, operations, compliance, and business departments.
Break down the project into manageable phases and workstreams, assigning tasks and resources effectively.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project progress.
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring they deliver services and solutions according to project requirements and timelines.
Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of the integrated solution.
Monitor project performance metrics and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful delivery.
Manage change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of the new solution by users.
Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders regularly and transparently.
Document lessons learned throughout the project to inform future initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
7+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the financial services industry.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of H2H communication protocols, SWIFT MT messaging, MX standards, and NPSS requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team.
Proficient in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Experience with financial modeling and budgeting is a plus.
PMP certification is a plus.
