Description

Commis Chef is tasked with carrying out the production of all dishes, preparing the required mise-en-place, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of food as it relates to the Central Kitchen.

Role Summary

Prepare and cook orders for daily operations.
Advise Sous Chef/Chef de Partie/Demi Chef of low inventory items; assists in receiving items and taking inventory as required.
May assist by performing ware washer or other kitchen duties as needed.
Maintain a clean, neat and wellorganized work area, including but not limited to reachins, walkins and counters.
Reports all unsafe or malfunctioning equipment to supervisor.
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen area that meet or exceed the state and local Health Board inspection and MAF Food Central Kitchen's requirements.
May assist with other duties as assigned.

Background:

2+ years of related culinary experience, at restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
Experience working with high volume production, banquet experience preferred.
Familiar with QSR restaurant.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Pay:
AED3, AED3,800.00 per month
