    Publicis Sapient is a Premier Google partner with differentiated capabilities in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Marketing Platform (GMP). This is an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Sales Director to support the rapid expansion of this leading and industry acclaimed Google (GCP) practice within the MENA region.

    In this role, you will guide and support prospective and current clients to understand the power of Google Cloud, explaining technical features and problem-solving any potential roadblocks. A major focus of your role will be evangelising and educating current commercial and delivery teams on "Why Google Cloud and How?", engaging directly with current and potential customers and overseeing responses to Google related tenders in the region.

    You'll bring Cloud knowledge and consulting skills to develop impactful solutions for our clients and prospects, and position PS as a leading Google partner in the region. Working with the Google partner, business development leadership and with the heads of our international businesses you will crystalize business outcome-based propositions into technical reality. You will also collaborate with the product marketing, management and engineering teams to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to the solutions that Publicis Sapient has created with Google Cloud.

    Your Impact

    • Work within the Practice Team to identify and qualify business opportunities, present optimal Google solutions, identify technical objections and develop appropriate strategies to maximise value for all parties.
    • Oversee a MENA wide strategy for sales growth and project manage responses to all commercial enquiries, RFPs, RFIs and help position PS as the Google practice of choice in the region.
    • Extend and deepen the technical relationship with Googlers we work with, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
    • Work hands-on with project teams and prospective clients to demonstrate and prototype Google Cloud product integrations in customer/partner environments.
    • Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution using best practices on Google Cloud.
    • Alliances and business development support.
    • Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as required.
    Qualifications
    • Experience of leading presales activities for a Cloud solution business.
    • Strong consulting skills and experience of shaping Cloud deals with clients.
    • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience to drive Google Cloud Platform adoption through collaboration with and influencing of senior stakeholders internally and externally. Experience in giving presentations confidently and delivering clear commercial pitches to business audiences up to the C-Level is required.
    • Experience of overseeing and driving new business development efforts for a Cloud business including project managing responses to, but not limited to, new business enquiries, tender submissions, RFPs.
    • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English are essential and fluent oral and written communication skills in Arabic are highly desirable.
    • Ability and willingness to travel to clients throughout the MENA region.
    • Technical Cloud experience is desirable and experience of utilising this to drive new innovations and revenue streams, and shape customer solutions.
    • Google Cloud Platform consulting sales, presales experience is desirable.
    • A strong Google Cloud Platform industry network is desirable.
    • Google Cloud Platform partnership/alliance management experience is desirable.
    • Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (Data or Infrastructure) and Apigee is desirable.
    • Experience of Google Marketing Products such as Google Ads is desirable.
    • Experience of selling the Cloud solutions of a management consulting practice is desirable.
    • Experience selling into the following industry verticals is desirable: Consumer Products, Retail, Financial Services, Travel & Hospitality, Energy & Commodities, Public Sector, Health, Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Transportation & Mobility.
