1. Sustainability in the Middle East and Africa
Create / Support a sustainability overview of airlines and countries in the region.

This involves online research as well as interaction with multiple Airbus teams (mainly the regional Sustainability Ambassadors, the Services team and the Sustainability Team).

The deliverables of the project will be Excel based analysis plus Google Slides / PowerPoint material to be used both internally/externally.


  • Research airlines sustainability roadmaps, actions and communication
  • Research countries sustainability roadmaps, actions and communication
  • Build an _airline sustainability _database that can be developed / updated periodically
  • Analyze and rank airlines across key KPIs (within database)
  • Manage the airline sustainability profiles in Salesforce
  • Analyze where Airbus is active regionally and with what initiatives
  • Analyze other major OEMs activity regionally and with what initiatives

2. Middle East & Africa aviation module (2 separate modules)
Create a regional overview of the Middle East and Africa aviation markets (using industry databases)

The deliverables of the project will be Excel based analysis plus Google Slides / PowerPoint material to be used both internally/externally.


  • Build the Airbus story in the Middle East & Africa (fleet evolution, the 'firsts' etc.)
  • Create an Airbus storyboard for key airlines in the region
  • Analyze the geographical market evolution of the region
  • Build regional and country level storyboards (market/fleet related)

Ad-hoc requests can include the following activities:

  • Fleet & network analysis using industry databases
  • Countrylevel market analysis on passenger flows
  • Benchmarking airline assumptions to other industry databases
  • Support to Marketing led events in the region
  • Support to Salesforce data management

Personal Profile:


  • Students in their final or semifinal year of Bachelor's degree or following a Master degree.
  • Preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Critical thinker, team player, creative and flexible individual.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is a must.
