    Description

    Responsible to demonstrate the maturity of the DMU to stakeholders as a deliverable at program development milestones such as PDR, CDR, FFRR.Work in close collaboration with the Configuration Management team to ensure adherence to, and alignment of, the official Aircraft Product Structure definition.

    Be the custodian of the DMU quality, ensuring DMU rules and standards are followed by all internal and external users.

    Ensure a smooth concurrent development in the DMU with a pro-active approach to solve potential and existing DMU clashes and discrepancies.

    Host and manage weekly DMU reviews to ensure all system owners are aware of upcoming and on-going development activities across the different Engineering Systems, to prevent and avoid issues that would elsewise require corrective actions.

    Provide DMU training to internal and external employees.
    Regular reporting of the DMU maturity progress to the Engineering and Program Management.

    Interface managementICM ManagementSet up a simple definition (layers, colours, geometry, numbering) and process of creating and releasing, Interface Control Models (ICM) as a means of identifying mechanical interfaces as early as possible in the aircraft development.

    Be the final approver of all ICMs.
    Ensure any pending ICM definitions and/or releases are not delayed.
    Create and manage an overview of the ICM status.

    Work in close collaboration with the Project System Interface Engineer for interface inputs to, and alignment with, the respective system Aircraft Installation Definition Document (AIDD).Provide ICM training to internal and external employees.

    Regular reporting of ICM status to the Engineering and Program Management.
    Profile / RequirementsBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (ideally aerospace engineering).Minimum 5 years of experience in an aircraft development environment.
    Experience with Dassault 3DExperience design and PLM tool.
    Some work experience working as a DMU Manager.
    Good understanding of general assembly and installation requirements.
    Good understanding geometric tolerancing.
    Good understanding of digital thread data management within the PLM (3Dx Enovia).
