The Restaurant Hostess is responsible for providing a warm welcome and excellent customer service to guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
This role involves greeting guests, escorting them to their tables, managing reservations, and ensuring the smooth flow of the dining experience.
Additionally, the hostess may assist with seating arrangements, answering guest inquiries, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the establishment.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Keep track of wait times for customers, ensuring efficient and fair seating arrangements.
- Upselling new dishes
- Take feedback from guests after their meal, addressing any concerns promptly. Encourage guests to leave positive reviews on platforms like Google to enhance the restaurant's online reputation.
- Attend to guest inquiries, providing information about the menu, specials, and any promotions.
- Coordinate effectively with the waitstaff and kitchen to maintain smooth service.
- Ensure that menus are clean and in good condition.
- Promote specials, addons, and promotions to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Provide guests with accurate bills and process payments.
- Collaborate with the management team to coordinate special events or private parties.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should have experience in restaurants or hotels as Hostess.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Salary:
AED3, AED5,000.00 per month
