About POWERTECH
POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.
About The Role
The Platform Integration Engineer ensure seamless integration of the turbofan engine with the aircraft platform.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aircraft-engine interfaces
Mechanical interfaces (mounts, pylons)
- Thermal and fluid interfaces
- Electrical & data interfaces
- Environmental & vibration constraints
Functional interfaces
Define installation and interface requirements.
- Support aircraft integration tests and ground runs.
- Ensure compatibility with aircraft systems (bleed air, electrical, controls).
- Support aircraft certification and flight test campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aircfrat, or other complex engineered systems
- Knowledge of turbofan architecture, systems and their integration constraints (FADEC, fuel, oil, drive shaft/AGB, engine mounts…) in aircraft environment
- ICDs, ICD management tools, Integration test tools
- Knowledge of certification specification (CS 25, CS-E, STANAG), FHA approach, V-cycle and test (aircraft ground tests, flight test…)
- CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, DOORS, MBSE approach
- Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities and complex environment
Skills
- Problem solving, conflict management, agility and sense of priority
- Ability to anticipate impacts (life-cycle cost, planning, safety, performance) and arbitrate
- Ability to analyze and structure complex information into actionable product decision under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams
- High communication skills, synthesis mindset, team player
