Position:
The Education Manager is responsible for (1) defining and rolling-out the training strategy and action plan according to HQ guidelines and in coordination with HQ and market specific development needs.
Defining and executing training action plan for floor team:
deliver training, E-learning, Retail coaching follow-up (3) Identifying specific needs for improvement to enhance team skills in line with market/network objectives.
(4) Sharing training practices and tools with HQ, and within the region, to guarantee message consistency and resource optimization._ Main Responsibilities_
Knowledge Expert
Be the reference in terms of knowledge on GUERLAIN for all floor teams.
Learn and know GUERLAIN's history, creations and on-going Brand activity to share with the local floor team.
Constant check of the competition environment: know the key players in the markets in terms of product offer and GUERLAIN's competitive advantage.
Training
Plan, organize and coordinate all floor team trainings
Train all teams on GUERLAIN brand, products (fragrances, skincare and make up) and know-how with the objective to teach how to sell to our clients.
Coach our sales teams:
- Be present in the POS to ensure learning and training dynamic.
- Conduct roleplay to ensure the sales speech is mastered.
Manage the full spectrum of education activities, not limited to classroom education programs, seasonal seminars, field coaching and special education projects
Manage training budgets and monitor the expenses throughout budget reviews and forecasts in a regular basis

Learning and Development
Based on guidelines provided by HQ, marketing and commercial local strategy, you will:
Build your annual training program (novelties, e-training, collection launch, specific local).
Establish individual training path according to the needs
Plan, consolidate and control the training budget at regional level and challenge cost / time / benefits on a quarterly basis
Share and exchange with HQ on local actions and expectations.

Support the Retail Performance
Identify high potential team members in retail teams (aspiring Boutique managers, aspiring beauty consultants) and contribute to their personal development and growth in coordination with local retail managers
Analyze, propose and implement action plans to improve the performance of retail staff in coordination with retail managers and marketing teams (FTE performance on total sales, by product category, mystery shopping results
Monitor Mystery Shopping program result follow up and action plans
Contribute to formalizing and implement Individual development plans for key members of the retail community

Team Management
Recruit, lead, inspire and develop team
Assign individual objectives for employee performance management purposes, manage performance, empower teams and provide feedback
Ensure identification and proper development and recognition of talent within team
Profile:
Bachelor's Degree with a focus in Business or equivalent
Minimum of 8 year of relevant experience in training in luxury beauty field
Solid experience in both classroom training and field coaching
In-depth knowledge of the latest beauty products and trends
Strong business acumen, proactive, a passion for excellence
Excellent presentation skills and communication skills with strong graphic sense and visual storytelling skill
Resourceful with good initiative and result-oriented
Creative and with an enthusiasm in beauty
Proficient in video editing software including Premiere, Photoshop, iMovie, After Effects etc.
Proficient in using the MS Excel, Words, and PowerPoint
Good command in written and speaking English
Fluent in English; Arabic and French can be a significant advantage but is not compulsory
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
