Description

Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications; ensure local codes and statutory requirements are adhered to and international best practice is adopted

Report any work executed by the contractor that is not compliant with approved specifications; inform stakeholders where necessary
Maintain reports for all site activities including progress reports, ensuring are readily available for inspection
Prepare surveillance and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required
Ensure effective coordination between various disciplines
Provide technical assistance
Check site conditions for suitability prior to construction
Observe, check and record works execution is in accordance with approved methods
Check instructions are being carried out
Check services locations and ensure their protection
Attend tests as directed by the RE/Mechanical Engineer
Record inspections, tests, work executed etc
Review and supervise the execution of HVAC mechanical works
Review and supervise the execution of plumbing & portable water networks
Check material delivered are as approved and properly stored
Observe site safety procedures
Measure work done when required
Assist in the review of shop drawings
Assist in the review and preparation of 'As-Built' drawings
Have minimum knowledge and skills in using relevant computer software
Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative
Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements
Minimum diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
Minimum of 45 years of demonstrable experience in MEP engineering
Proven experience of all mechanical components is a must including HVAC, plumbing and water network and fire fighting, LPG
Proven experience in housing and residential developments
UAE experience is a must.
Must be available in UAE.
