Job Functions:

• Study tender documents including drawings, project specification, BOQ, scope of work, contract conditions and find out discrepancies and request clarifications from client/ consultant.
• Visit projects sites to gather essential information.
• Obtain quotations from suppliers/ subcontractors securing best deals.
• Advice lower-level estimators of company estimating methods/ procedures and provides estimate breakdown direction.
• Review estimates prepared by lower-level estimators to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with the scope of work, including those developed by suppliers/ subcontractors that may need revising to reflect construction practices.
• Prepare conceptual and definitive cost estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, and obtaining materials.
• Manage pre-qualification and tender submissions.
• Keeping track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.

Qualifications:

• Â Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
• Â Minimum 5 years experience with main contractor company based in U.A.E.
• Must be currently available in U.A.E.
• MUST BE ABLE TO JOIN IMMEDIATELY.
