A Medical Virtual Assistant is a specialized virtual assistant who focuses specifically on providing remote administrative and technical support to healthcare professionals.

You are expected to be skilled in using practice management software systems to efficiently handle medical administrative tasks. Medical Virtual Assistants help healthcare professionals streamline their administrative workload, improve efficiency, and focus more on patient care, even when they are not physically present at the medical facility


Duties and responsibilities:

• Communicating with medical professionals to coordinate client care, obtain necessary medical information, and address any concerns or inquiries.
• Managing client records and ensuring accurate documentation of services provided, including obtaining and updating medical information as needed.
• Assisting with scheduling client appointments and coordinating caregiver schedules to ensure optimal client care.
• Handling billing and insurance verification tasks, including processing payments and addressing billing inquiries from medical facilities.
• Maintaining confidentiality of client and medical information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Providing administrative support to the management team, including preparing reports, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of client care.

Requirements:

• Great communication skills (Arabic/English)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently engage with medical professionals.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Selfmotivated and proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in the healthcare or home care industry is preferred but not required.
• Willing to work in Pacific Time (PST) schedule (8:00 AM 4:00 PM PST).
• With own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, core 5 above) with an internet connection of at least 10mbps.
