Responsibilities:

Identify and create new business opportunities to increase company revenue.

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to consistently meet or

exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and partners providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.

Negotiating prices, costs, delivery, and specifications with buyers and managers.

Nurturing and adding to the existing portfolio through strong rapport building and regular face to face meetings.


Closely work with Management/Stakeholders to build a scalable and profitable commercial strategy through offering recommendations of ways to generate leads and identifying new sales avenues.

Analyze customer preferences, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments to inform business development strategies.

Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, such as new product lines, markets, distribution channels, or partnerships.

Set and achieve sales targets and objectives.

Collaborate with the product development team to identify opportunities for product improvement or diversification.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.

Make sure to get timely payments from the clients as per agreed payments terms.

Performs other duties as assigned,


CLIENT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Build relationships with key employees among customers.

Create plans to address clients' business needs.

Advise clients on creating profitable processes.

Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied.

Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate.

Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms.

Collaborate with internal teams of Accounts, Sales, Engineers, Marketing and Senior Management) to address customers' needs.


Qualification:

Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).

Proven experience in business development

Strong understanding of agricultural products, processes, and market dynamics.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Familiarity with CRM software and data analytics tools.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- business development manager: 1 year (required)
