Job Description:
Insurance Coordinator (Dental Insurance)


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate all insurancerelated activities within the dental clinic.
  • Verify patients' insurance coverage and eligibility prior to appointments.
  • Communicate with insurance providers in the UAE to obtain accurate and uptodate insurance information.
  • Submit insurance claims electronically or by mail, ensuring accuracy and completeness according to UAE regulations.
  • Monitor and track insurance claims specific to the UAE to ensure timely processing and reimbursement.
  • Follow up on unpaid or denied claims, identifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies within the UAE insurance framework.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to obtain all necessary documentation for insurance claims compliant with UAE requirements.
  • Educate patients on their insurance coverage, benefits, and any outofpocket expenses within the UAE context.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurancerelated inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay updated on changes in UAE insurance regulations, policies, and billing codes specific to the dental industry.

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance, particularly within a clinic setting in the UAE.
  • Indepth knowledge of insurance procedures, guidelines, and billing practices specific to the UAE.
  • Proficient in using insurance billing software and electronic claim submission systems compliant with UAE standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurancerelated tasks within the UAE context.
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients and insurance providers effectively within the UAE cultural norms.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is preferred.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive patient information within the UAE legal framework.
