Charterhouse is currentlyworking with a global investment management company who is lookingto hire a Quant DeveloperBack End to join their global technologyteam.

About therole
This is a great opportunity to join agrowing global financial services firm that has a talentedtechnology division. This role sits within the front office workingclosely with the trading desk and portfolio managers. The QuantDeveloper will have multiple responsibilities including APIDevelopment Systems Development (trading) DevOps setup &Infrastructure setup.

The team has a focus onperformance optimization continuous improvement and collaboration.

This role will work closely with the portfolio managers to makesure the data is correct for the trading team ensuring they havethe information to make decisions in a timely manner.

In addition this role will be a senior member of theteam and will be looked upon to mentor and coach more juniordevelopers.

Aboutyou

To be considered for this role thesuccessful candidate should possess a Bachelors or Masters degreein computer science or related field with at least 6 yearsexperience working as a Backend Developer with a strong focus inPython.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with APIDevelopment and an understanding of administration tasks includingserver setup deployment and maintenance.

Ourclient is looking for someone with an understanding a macro tradingfinancial or related environment. Excellent communication skills inEnglish are essential for thisposition.
