Summary:

Mark Williams is currently working with a large retail entity based in UAE for their recruitment needs.

The Head of Information Security and Compliance will operate at company-wide level to drive adoption with focus on Data and Analytics processes, standards, platforms, services and operations, including Security Operation Center of Excellence across the group.

Responsibilities:

Design and lead the evolution of the information security and compliance capability across the company including inhouse vs. external approach
Lead the design of the information security and compliance architecture and analytics infrastructure, including a common innovation methodology and innovation network to share bestpractices, tools, and key resources
Establish information security and compliance governance bodies, policies, and standards
Establish a data security approach including mitigation plans and measures to protect data
Direct the Provision of effective and efficient information security and compliance services to all Businesses, Functions, including resources and services
Oversee portfolio of information security and compliance change programs that support digital transformation
Oversee the continued evolution information security and compliance landscape to improve results
Oversee the stability, security, and service quality of information security and compliance systems
Establish clear accountabilities, objectives, policies, processes and methods for management and governance
Working with business, functional units, and leadership to propose, agree and deliver services based on service Level agreements
Responsible for the department budget and ensuring discipline with financial review cycles

Requirements:

Master degree on Information Technology Security
5+ years functional experience on leading Information Technology Security, including Security Operation Centers (internals and externals) in complex environments
Proven experience of managing Information Technology Security platforms and services on large and multinational companies
Experience in systems planning, development methodologies & and business process management
