Company Overview:


Skyports is a leading urban air mobility company that designs, builds, and operates vertiports to provide safe and efficient air taxi services for urban populations.

The company is currently expanding its operations in the UAE and is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead a vertiport development project.


Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans and timelines, ensuring project objectives are met within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Coordinate with the design and engineering team to ensure that all design and construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Manage the procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure that project risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in a timely and effective manner.
  • Lead regular project meetings, provide progress updates, and ensure effective communication between project team members and stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report project progress to senior management, identifying any potential issues or delays and recommending corrective actions.
  • Manage project finances, including forecasting and tracking project expenses, and ensuring that costs are managed within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure project success.

Requirements:


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Preferably PMP or PRINCE2 certified.
  • 68 years of experience in project management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, from planning to execution and commissioning.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage project risks and issues.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and codes related to mixeduse development and aviation projects in Dubai.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong background in daytoday client facing projects and delivery.
