Position

People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner is responsible for delivery of a full range of P&C services.

The position holder will work along with the Head of P&C to design and implement P&C policies and procedures relating to all functional areas of P&C such as benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, and employment law compliance.


Responsibilities include:

  • Understand the company's longterm business goals and develop HR strategies that support those goals. Identify HR needs and create plans to address them effectively.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on employee relations issues. Provide guidance and support on conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans. Coach managers on effective performance management techniques and provide guidance on addressing performance issues.
  • Analyze market trends and benchmarks to develop competitive compensation and benefits programs. Provide guidance to managers and employees on compensationrelated matters, including salary structures, promotions, and incentive plans.
  • Identify training and development needs within the organization and design programs to address those needs. Coordinate and deliver training sessions and workshops on various topics, such as leadership development, employee skills enhancement, and diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with employment laws and regulations. Communicate and ensure consistent implementation of policies across the organization. Stay updated on changes in labour laws and recommend necessary adjustments to HR practices.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Prepare reports and presentations on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and workforce demographics, to support decisionmaking.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by providing guidance and support to managers and employees. Help manage the impact of change on individuals and teams and facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Lead and participate in HR projects, such as system implementations, policy rollouts, and organizational restructuring. Develop project plans, set milestones, allocate resources, and ensure timely and successful project completion.
Education and Experience


Essential:


  • An undergraduate degree in the field of Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resource generalist role
  • Experience working in the UAE
  • Intermediate to advanced experience of Enterprisewide information Systems such Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

Desirable:


  • Education sector experience
Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Knowledge of employment and related regulations, policies and issues in UAE
  • Knowledge of HR processes/ Administration,
  • Experience in recruitment of expatriates
  • Awareness of the local labour law and legal compliance
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines which maintaining high level attention to detail
  • Fluency in written/spoken English

Desirable:


  • Experience in recruitment of academic staff
