POSITION OVERVIEW

Performs functions associated with the acquisition, manufacture, testing, delivery, receipt, storage, custody and issuance of required materials to be used in construction.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Possesses extensive knowledge on concrete mix design and batching plants calibration/operation.
Holds competent knowledge on asphalt mix design and batching plants calibration/operation.
Relevant experience with buildings' materials selection, including but not limited to; doors, windows, paints, flooring, roof waterproofing systems, electrical, plumbing and sanitary installations.
Have full awareness of testing requirements.
Check material submissions and properly process approvals.
Visit factories to ensure proper manufacture and testing of materials produced.
Ensure materials delivered are as approved and are properly stored.
Assist in the development of testing procedures.
Keep uptodate with new appropriate materials.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

10+ years of materials experience, ideally within the UAE.
Dubai experience is preferable.
