As an Assistant Manager Administration in the logistics industry based in the UAE, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of logistics operations.

Your organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage administrative tasks will contribute to efficient workflows and effective communication within the logistics team.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily office operations, including supplies and schedules.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized and productive office environment.
  • Assist in shipment coordination and tracking.
  • Address any discrepancies that arise.
  • Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse personnel.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Arrange travel logistics for the logistics team.
  • Book flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Align travel plans with operational needs and schedules.
  • Assist in managing vendor and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely payments and order placements.
  • Coordinate vendor meetings and negotiations.
  • Provide necessary administrative assistance to logistics managers and team members.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for meetings.
  • Stay updated on local and international logistics regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance.
  • Prepare required documentation for customs and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Years of administrative experience in the logistics or related industry, with 3-5 years.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with logistics operations and documentation processes.
  • Knowledge of UAE logistics regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.

Salary:
AED7, AED7,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
