    Job Description

    We are looking for a candidate who will manage UI/UX design across our website and mobile applications. You will work closely with the founding team and product and engineering teams to design intuitive and engaging products that solve real world problems for our users. As a Design Thinking practitioner, you will engage with the users and other teams to constantly push the boundaries of simplicity and elegance in our products. You will be responsible to continuously improve the user journey and drive gamification of the UI to deliver an engaging and fabulous experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Simplify the UI to enable customers to solve complex problems they face while planning an event, thus delivering a great experience.
    • Conduct extensive ongoing user research to better understand user needs and behaviors.
    • Use principles of gamification to enrich the user experience and introduce fun elements in the planning process making the journey more engaging.
    • Game design the UI with multiple levels to create the hook required to get the customer to come back to the website/mobile application. Use our currency to reward the users for interaction/engagement.
    • Provide the necessary understanding to map journeys, flows, interactions, and dependencies above and below the service's line of visibility.
    • Build the UX to ensure an Omni channel customer journey across the website and mobile applications.
    • Collaborate with product team, stakeholders, and users to expose and map the service context. Identify critical factors and insights and prioritize value-driving opportunities to deliver business and customer value.
    • Work with customer experience, product and marketing teams to translate customer insights into tangible design deliverables with defined timelines.
    • Collaborate with engineering team to understand and integrate technical enablers and limitations into the product design.
    • Develop proficiency and independence with tools and skills relating to the definition of key user behavior using experience models, personas, user journeys, storyboards, site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes, or simulations.
    • Lead design sprints to come up with innovative way of solving problems.
    • Participate in research activities (both user and stakeholder) and UX design workshops with stakeholders. Contribute to the construction of design artifacts necessary to conduct concept testing/usability testing and produce reports.
    • Develop and/or use appropriate UX design principles and evaluation processes and/or efficiency and cost measurements to ensure that any design solution meets or exceeds defined needs and strategies; effectively document processes.
    • Support with graphic design requirements, as and when required.

    Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

    • 3+ years' experience as a UI/UX professional, skilled in human centered design; able to demonstrate expertise in both information architecture and digital interactive experience design for component driven, responsive web and mobile applications.
    • Experience with game design and/or incorporation of gamification into the UI.
    • Comprehensive understanding of design thinking principles and experience in leading design thinking workshops with stakeholders.
    • Portfolio presenting a few case studies covering the whole service design lifecycle (from discovery to Beta and beyond) with actual artefacts that can be presented in depth during the interview.
    • Experience in UI/UX design within multi-disciplinary agile service teams (product designers, business analysts, researchers, developers, and subject matter experts).
    • Knowledge of the best practices for UX and interaction design for responsive experiences.
    • Developing portfolio of customer experience examples and storytelling, featuring user research activities, audience definition and experience mapping, site/app-mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and functional spec writing.
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) and Figma.
    • Ability to contribute to UX workshops with team members and clients and ability to help synthesize learnings.
