Requirements:


  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the same or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
  • High school diploma or postsecondary education in hospitality or any related field.
  • Preferred nationality of US, Europe or South America.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide excellent customer service to guests by maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
  • Inviting potential customers to explore the restaurant's offerings.
  • Monitor and manage the flow of guests in the dining area.
  • Handle phone inquiries and take reservations. Keep a log of all reservations.
  • Respond to any questions about other restaurants functions and services in a kind and proper manner.
  • Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant and accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.
  • Welcome and greet the restaurants guests and escort them to their tables ensuring guests comfort.
  • Arrange with the waiterwaitress to prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses to maintain a tidy dining area.
  • Provide guests with menus, inform them of their servers name, and inspect the table for proper presentation and completeness.
  • Provide guests with estimated waiting time and maintain a professional, courteous attitude when confronted with hostile, impatient, or irate guests.
  • Inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
  • Maintain supplies of mints and toothpicks at the host stand and clean menus of food and stains.
  • Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems.
  • Thanks guests as they leave and invite them to return and report guest comments or suggestions to the manager on duty as per restaurant policy.
  • Adhere to the NCO (Neat, Clean & Orderly) activities for hygiene purposes and efficient cleanliness Upsell additional products when appropriate.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
  • Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
