Job Summary

An Outbound Travel Agent is responsible for planning and selling transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and other travel-related services for customers traveling outside of their home country.

The role involves extensive customer interaction, with the goal of providing a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. The agent must stay informed about the latest travel regulations, destination options, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Consultation:

• Understand clients' preferences, needs, and budgets to recommend suitable travel packages.
• Provide detailed information on travel destinations, tours, accommodation, and transport options.

Travel Planning and Booking:

• Arrange and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
• Coordinate travel arrangements to ensure smooth transitions and satisfaction.
• Offer customized travel solutions and itineraries tailored to clients' requirements.

Sales and Promotion:

• Promote and sell travel products, packages, and services.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's revenue growth.
• Upsell additional services such as travel insurance and guided tours.

Customer Service:

• Assist clients with travelrelated issues before, during, and after their trips.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Prepare and process travel documents, including visas and passports.
• Ensure compliance with all travel regulations and policies.
• Keep accurate records of transactions, bookings, and customer interactions.

Market Research and Networking:

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging destinations, and travel regulations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with airlines, hotels, and other travel service providers.
• Attend industry events and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Skills and Qualifications

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Degree in travel and tourism, hospitality, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

• Previous experience in travel sales or customer service (preferred).
• Knowledge of global travel destinations and tourism services.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
• Proficiency in travel booking systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Salesdriven with a customerfocused approach.

Pay:
AED2, AED3,500.00 per month
