As a reputed multi-speciality hospital, weare looking for a specialized Gastroenterologist to diagnose andtreat diseases of the digestive system. Ability to examine patientsto determine what's causing the patient's symptoms.Specialized to use a variety of tools, including endoscopes andbiopsies, to diagnose the cause of theproblem.

GastroenterologistDuties And Responsibilities

• Consulting with patients to diagnosethe cause of abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, weight loss,and other symptoms
• Performing a variety ofdiagnostic tests, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and upperendoscopy procedures
• Requesting lab tests andscans where required for diagnosis
• Analyzingthe results of diagnostic tests to determine a diagnosis and plantreatment options
• Prescribingmedications
• Recommending lifestyle changes tomanage gastrointestinal problems
• Keepingmedical records and liaising with a team of doctors where necessaryfor patient care

• Degree inMedicine
• Certification to practiceGastroenterology
• Residency/Fellowship withinGastroenterology positions
• Proficient incomputer hardware/software and diagnosticmachinery
• Strong communicative andinterpersonal skills
• Developed bedsidemanner
• Experience diagnosing and treatingpatients
• 3 plusyear's experience asGastroenterologist
• Able to travel for workseminars and training
• Able to work a flexibleschedule
