- Conduct regular site inspectionsto ensure that landscape construction is progressing according toapproved plans and specifications. Verify that grading, planting,irrigation, and other landscape elements are installed correctlyand in compliance with the design.
- Ensure thatall landscape installations adhere to local building codes, zoningregulations and environmental ordinances. Verify that the projectmeets accessibility and safetystandards.
- Review and analyze landscape plans,drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.Verify that all required permits and approvals are in place beforeconstruction begins.
- Monitor the quality ofmaterials used in landscape construction as well as identify andaddress any deviations from the approved plans orspecifications.
- Collaborate with otherinspectors, contractors, landscape architects, and project managersto address issues and ensure smooth projectprogression.
- Maintain detailed records ofinspections, including photos, reports and any non-complianceissues.
- Stay informed about changes inlandscape design standards, construction techniques, and relevantregulations.
