Job summary
Report to the Resident Engineer and assist in supervising construction of viaduct works and associated structural elements Coordinate daily activities with engineers inspectors surveyors and members of the construction supervision team Assist in reviewing shop drawings design proposals method statements and related correspondence for viaduct works Maintain daily site diaries and review daily inspection reports prepared by inspectors Monitor construction quality and ensure adherence to approved standards and specifications Direct assist monitor performance of inspectors surveyors within assigned scope Ensure accuracy completeness proper maintenance site records documentation Oversee implementation safety procedures project safety objectives achieved Prepare weekly monthly progress reports Participate health safety matters coordination project safety representatives Provide on-site direction Resident Engineer issuing site instructions structural utilities works Measure verify executed works record progress tracking progress against approved schedules Ensure correctness completeness as-built drawings viaduct structural works Maintain handover records final handover completed works relevant authorities.
