    Responsibilities

    • Preparing and cooking meats in several different styles such as roasted, smoked, grilled, or braised
    • Instructing and overseeing junior chefs in their duties and taking over the responsibilities of the senior chef when necessary
    • Estimating food quantities, managing food inventory, and ordering
    • Ensuring the highest food quality standards are met by inspecting all meat products before cooking
    • Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
    • Communicating with the restaurant managers and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food operations
    • Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen while following health and safety regulations

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of proven experience as a chef de partie with specialization in butchery
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Passion for food, creativity and attention to detail
    • Ability to develop new dishes and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask and work well in fast-paced environments
    • Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations
    • Food safety certificate (HACCP) and relevant culinary qualifications are preferred

    Benefits

    Basic Monthly Salary: AED 3600 to 4500 depending on experience. Food allowance AED 375
