JOB ROLE:
FINANCE MANAGER


This position is accountable for all the financial matters of the Group in line with the business direction and financial strategy.

The job holder will work collaboratively with the senior management team to develop, implement and monitor financial control, analysis, operating systems, and internal controls in a manner consistent with the group's policies, procedures and compliance guidelines as well as generally accepted accounting principles, tax regulations, and existing federal and state laws.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate all preoperational activities related to finance, accounting, insurance, payroll, general contracts' management, budgeting and reporting, including setup of systems and related operational documentation.
  • Prepare and manage development of annual operating and capital budgets consistent in line with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and manage financial reports necessary to show overall financial performance and analysis of monthly operating results, and coordinates development of action plans to address material variances.
  • Prepare various financial scenarios for identifying opportunities for improvement, cost savings and revenue management processes.
  • Evaluate profitability of lines of business and cost effectiveness of programs and recommends appropriate changes.
  • Develops and monitors pricing and competitor strategy and monitor cash flows.
  • Lead process development and implementation to ensure compliance with standards of service and evaluate opportunities for rebid work/ contracts.
  • Organize and present financial data reports to the senior management team.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE, QUALITFICATION AND COMPETENCIES

  • Masters in Commerce or ACCA qualified
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience while working with FMCG or Food Commodity industry in UAE
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer spreadsheet and database expertise.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in making presentations to, and communicating with senior management, Boards of Directors
  • Strong supervisory/ management skills especially in financial operations.
  • Must Strong business acumen, strategic planning, decision making in view of financial priorities and internal and external conditions, and highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills.
