The Role

A Donor Relations & Partnerships Officer is responsible for supporting the Donor Relations & Partnerships Department through researching, coordinating, and administrating fundraising initiatives and campaigns.

He/she is also responsible for ensuring that donor data is always up to date.

Roles and Responsibilities (Include but not limited to): 1. Conduct research on latest fundraising trends, channels and campaigns. 2. Continuously research for new donors and submit recommendations to the Deputy Director of Donor Relations & Partnerships. 3. Conduct benchmark studies with local and global philanthropic organizations, analyse data and put forth recommendations to enhance fundraising efforts. 4. Host brainstorming sessions to come up with new fundraising ideas and draft proposals for management's approval. 5. Assist the Fundraising Manager in launching and executing fundraising initiatives including the School Award and School Clubs 6. Lead on School outreach campaigns and maximize funds from this sector. 6. Assist in evaluating incoming fundraising proposals and coordinate on these initiatives with the donors directly. 7. Manage relationships with donors and ensure that donors are informed and engaged regularly. 8. Draft MoUs and ensure legal compliance across all initiatives. 9. Process permits required for fundraising initiatives from all relevant local authorities. 10. Attend meetings with the Donor Relations & Partnerships team 11. Provide administrative and logístical support whenever needed by the team. 12. Update CRM and other database systems with current donor details. 13. Assist the Director of Donor Relations & Partnerships in conducting market research to identify key demographics 14. Create surveys for measuring donor satisfaction, compile data collected and analyse it to identify areas of concerns and opportunities. 15. Coordinate with other core departments to ensure that all donor requests are attended to.


Requirements:


Education, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate degree and/or relevant experience in non-profit agencies Experience in project management Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar field of sales/fundraising/customer relations Specific Knowledge and Competencies: Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web and Outlook Database management Excellent oral and written skills in English and Arabic Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with others Highly organised and able to work under pressure Time management Excellent Research and analytical skills Experience of using a variety of research resources and tools including online
