Role Purpose:

Able to ensure that all graphics and promotional POS material is installed on time and following company standards/guidelines. Re-merchandise and maintain key areas in store when new themes and seasonal implementations are installed.

Must ensure a daily store walk with the VM Team is carried out and checklist/action plans are executed correctly and on time.

Coordinating store display and theme changes in line with brand guidelines and standards. Developing floor plans and maximize visual impact within the store.


Key Role Specific Accountabilities:


  • To implement and maintain all visual displays and general in store merchandising, ensuring that VM guidelines are being followed consistently
  • To be the VM point of contact for Store Manager/Sales Management communication
  • Always look for edgy creative ways of improving and developing store displays in line with brand concept
  • Have a highly developed knowledge of interior design, visual merchandising and home furnishing trends.
  • Ensure that all graphics and promotional POS material is installed on time and following company standards
  • Remerchandising key areas in store when new themes and seasonal implementations are installed.
  • Ensure a daily store walk with the VM Team is carried out and checklist/action plans are followed up correctly and on time.
  • Attend a weekly conference call with the VM Manger for updates on all VM and Graphics related work.
  • Coordinating store display and theme changes in line with brand guidelines and standards
  • Ability to work on floor plans and maximize visual impact within the store in line with brand concept
  • Ensure photographic documentation is kept on file of all promotional and VM work carried out in store.
  • Attend a weekly conference call with the VM Manger from Regional Office for updates on all VM and Graphics related work.

  • Follow a daily checklist and ensure that any action plans are completed on time.
  • Attend a weekly conference call with the VM Manger and store VM team
  • Ensure photographic documentation is kept of all promotional and VM work carried out in store.
  • Ensure that the brand identity and presentation standards in both windows and instore are achieved consistently whilst incorporating commercial opportunities

Person Specific:


Education:
Completed full time education to a High school level
Minimum Experience and Knowledge: 3 + years either in a retail environment or VM role


Job-Specific Skills:

  • A passion and love of design, colour and style
  • Visual Merchandising skills gained ideally from a furniture or home furnishings/accessories background (fashion may be considered)
  • Eye for detail
  • Strong interest in interior/fashion design and a knowledge of local and international
  • Market trends
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to engage and work well with different cultures and nationalities
  • Receptive to constructive criticism
  • Ensure a daily store walk with the Senior Visual Merchandiser is carried out and checklist/action plans are executed correctly and on time.
  • Computer literate (Power Point, Excel, Office, any design package Photoshop, Illustrator an advantage)
