Description

We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory and ensure the smooth operation of our car garage.

The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.

• Receive incoming shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment.
• Verify and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store items in designated storage areas.
• Maintain inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.
• Prepare and issue parts and supplies to mechanics and other staff members.
• Keep accurate records of inventory transactions using computerized systems or manual logs.
• Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor and report on stock levels, expiration dates, and damaged items.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and storage areas.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an automotive or mechanical workshop setting.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and terminology is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.
• Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
