  • Data analysis qualification will be an advantage

  • 6 years experience, including 4 consecutive years of teaching performance that exceeds standards and expectations as evidenced by Performance Appraisal

  • Teaching certification and significant experience in career guidance and/or Alumni development
  • Leadership experience in a school setting or educational institution.
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum development, instructional best practices, and assessment strategies.

  • Passion for promoting higherlevel education and inspiring students to pursue courses at the best universities
  • Show work flexibility

Job Description:

Aldar Education is currently seeking to recruit to the position of Head of Careers & Alumni and join our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE.

The current vacancy is a senior role, based in ADNOC Schools and will support and work with all four of our campuses.

ADNOC Schools are Massachusetts State Curriculum schools and provide high-quality learning environments in Abu Dhabi City and the Western Region of Abu Dhabi Emirate.

This position will be for an August 2024 start.

Responsibilities:


  • Establish and maintain a database of alumni contacts.
  • Organize and facilitate alumni events, such as reunions, homecoming, and networking gatherings.
  • Foster a sense of community and belonging among alumni.
  • Facilitate networking opportunities among alumni, encouraging professional and social connections.
  • Provide platforms for alumni to share their success stories, experiences, and expertise with current students.
  • Collaborate with the school's development office to engage alumni in fundraising campaigns.
  • Seek alumni donations, endowments, and sponsorships to support the school's programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase alumni giving and participation rates.
  • Create and manage mentorship programs that connect alumni with current students.
  • Implement a range of Exam Prep programmes to support G1012 students
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mentorship/exam programs, especially if a third party.
  • Plan and execute alumnirelated events, including logistics, invitations, and followup.
  • Ensure that events run smoothly and provide value to attendees.
  • Develop marketing materials and content to engage alumni.
  • Utilize various communication channels, such as social media, newsletters, and the school website, to promote alumni activities and achievements.
