Job location - Kuwait

Industry preference - packaging, plastic

Minimum years of exp - 5 + in similar role

Identifying activities and operations that require cost, and determining methods for optimal cost allocation.
Production cost analysis and analysis to determine the cost of producing products or providing services, including the costs of raw material & OH
Update standard costs in the formulations (bill of materials) in ERP system
Monthly closing of costs in coordination with the Finance Department and related departments
Develop strong control systems for the production and warehouse department to monitor costs and financial performance, identify any imbalances or waste in the use of resources and take the necessary measures to reduce them.
Analyze and review standard and actual costs and determine the inaccuracies or improvements
Send periodic reports to the financial management and senior management
Preparing periodic financial reports showing the costs and financial performance of the various projects and activities, and providing recommendations and analyzes to finance manager and top management to improve efficiency and profitability.
Analyze costing information and collaborate with sales and finance teams to establish customer pricing and estimating future costs, pricing products according to company policy, identifying sources of savings, and allocating resources.
Collaborate with other departments in the company, such as the production and maintenance team, warehouses, purchasing and sales, to exchange information and ensure that costs and financial performance are aligned with the strategic goals of the company.
Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close
