    The Senior Naval Architect/Structural Engineer willoversee a team of engineers and be responsible for the planningverifying execution and delivery of projects and marine warrantyscope.


    What you will bedoing.

    • Assistwith preparation of proposals for bids and tender inputs.Developing new business including initiating and winningproposals.
    • Supervise (prepare) as required andassist with Naval Architecture/Engineering design calculations andanalysis for designs of various Structural Engineering elementspertaining to the project in accordance with international codesand standards.
    • Assist and/or lead projects (asassigned by the manager) to accomplish the overall delivery ofoptimum solutions to customers within the timeframe costs andquality standards established by ABL and/or the Client
    • Responsible for the execution of projects anddeliverables in accordance with quality and HSEstandards.
    • Perform concept and detailed design/ analysis of various fixed / floating offshore structures andMODUs.
    • Undertake Marine Warranty scope of workreview and site activities
    • Attend regularinternal meetings and external / third party meetings asrequired
    • Maintain responsibility for NavalArchitecture/Structural Engineering integrity prepare workingforecasts identifying change management plans and corrective actionas well as real time schedules.
    • Ensure alldeliverables carried out in accordance with ABL policies andprocedures
    • Participate in design reviewsaudits and Nav Arch/Structural Engineeringrelated reviews. Evaluateand prepares concept selection reports and basis fordesign
    • Liaise with clients to ensure projectcompletion and customer satisfaction
    • Providementoring coaching and motivation to subordinates and providetraining to personnel new to the structural systems analyses anddesign as required.
    • And other duties asassigned.
    • Primarily office based butrequirement for onsite attendance and time with clients.

    What we are looking for.

    • Degree qualification in Naval Architecture or StructuralEngineering or equivalent
    • 5 years experiencerelevant professional experience with particular relevantexperience and expertise with loadout/ transportation/ installationof offshore assets.
    • Particular relevantexperience and expertise with jack ups / MODUs and sitespecificassessments
    • In depth knowledge of industrystandards and codes and the ability to apply standards tostructural analysis & designs
    • Fullunderstanding of classification societies and their designrequirements
    • Attention to detail and a highlevel of numerical accuracy.
    • Resultsorientated and client focused.
    • Proactive andability to show initiative in problem solving
    • Influential with business and people acumen
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Desirable
    • Masters degree or equivalent
    • Chartered engineer status or equivalent
    • Member of Society of Marine Warranty Surveyors
