- Operational Excellence: Maintain the company's operational standards daily; oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage to ensure smooth service delivery; maintain interior and exterior areas to a high standard while controlling Repair & Maintenance expenses within budget; monitor maintenance requests for staff compliance and engineering efficiency; ensure all SOPs and internal policies are complete, updated, and followed.
- Financial Performance: Maximize revenue and profit within areas of responsibility and assist in preparing the Annual Budget and Investment Plan; maintain strict cost control over payroll, supplies, and departmental expenses; support cross‑selling initiatives across departments.
- Guest Experience & Service Quality: Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally, convert dissatisfied guests into repeat customers, maintain staff appearance and hygiene standards, ensure guest satisfaction scores are met, and uphold Quality Assurance standards.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead daily operational priorities, conduct briefings with Department Heads, manage Duty Manager schedules, conduct regular training, and maintain high team morale and engagement.
- Strategic & Administrative Responsibilities: Assist the Cluster General Manager in evaluating hotel operations and implementing action plans; deputize for the Cluster General Manager in their absence; ensure familiarity with company documentation and Operational Standards Manual; take full operational responsibility in emergencies or when Department Heads are absent.
- Hygiene / Safety / Environment / Confidentiality: Ensure proper care of equipment, adhere to hotel policies and emergency procedures (fire, medical, bomb threat, evacuation), apply safety regulations, support the Environment Charter and sustainability initiatives, follow Heartists Handbook rules, and safeguard confidential information.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Room Division Manager in the hospitality sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven problem-solving, training, and motivational capability.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic, German, or Russian is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the UAE hospitality sector preferred.
- Vibrant personality, professional and presentable.
- Positive, can‑do attitude and ability to work in a team.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.

Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day operational performance of the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage departments. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and adherence to brand standards while supporting department heads in achieving service excellence and financial targets. The role deputizes for the Cluster General Manager in the absence of a Resident Manager and manages day-to-day business without making strategic mid- or long-term decisions without prior consultation. In performing these duties, the Operations Manager maintains good relations with supervisory staff, Department Heads, local authorities and other key stakeholders. The department under responsibility (e.g., Rooms Division / Food & Beverage) is considered an integral part of the role.
